One of my concerns about the SOTW series has been its lack of
assessments. This pack really fits the bill. Now, we read through
the chapter, do some activities, listen to the chapter on audio CD,
and then take the test. I think this much review helps with
retention.
My second grader can do the tests without any problem, but I do
need to read the questions aloud just to make sure she understands
what they are asking. A third or fourth grader could probably do
these tests on their own.
